Follow the Money

When people think of solar power they usually think of hardcore environmental freaks who want to save the planet. If you are on of these people well do I have news for you! Solar Power is not succeeding because of Al Gore and his green energy army; it is succeeding because now for the first time in world history it is cost effective. Repeat this to yourself: Solar Power is cost-effective.

If you do not believe me then I suggest you look at the demand for solar energy outside the USA which is astronomically higher than USA demand for solar power and I also suggest you look into how much money is being invested worldwide into private solar companies. Its not a joke anymore to say that solar power is a competitor to Exxon, Shell, and Chevron when companies like Google and Amazon and many other companies are heavily investing in solar power. If you look at the companies below and their stock market success with most importantly their rising profits it is easy to see that the writing is on the wall for solar power to become a major force in this world whether people like or not. One last thing I forgot to mention to you before you look at solar companies below is that when 2 billion people still live in very primitive conditions and all they have is the sun and power lines are too expensive to build what type of power do you think they will choose as the cheapest source of energy? Or what about China and India trying to prevent economic disaster because of the price of oil that they will greatly contribute to. Plus why would the USA or the western world for that matter want to be blackmailed by oil on a consistent basis. It makes no sense!
